At Trilemma, kids learn jiu jitsu - how to be confident, handle themselves, and think under pressure. They're grappling with other kids their age, learning technique, playing games, and genuinely having fun.
It's all grappling-based so there's no striking involved, and our coaches know how to keep it safe while still making it challenging.
What happens at a trial class?
Here's what your kid will do:
Warm up with fun movement games (not boring laps, actual fun).
Learn a basic technique from our experienced coaches.
Practice with other kids their age in a safe, supervised environment.
Probably try to armbar their sibling when they get home (sorry about that).
Classes run for 30-45 minutes depending on the age group. We split kids into age-appropriate groups so the littlies aren't getting smashed by teenagers.
Bet you’ve got some questions
"But is it safe?" Yep. Jiu jitsu is non-striking (no punches or kicks), and our coaches are trained to keep things fun but controlled. Kids learn to tap out when they're caught, and everyone respects the tap. It's actually one of the safest martial arts for kids.
"What if my kid's never done this before?" Even better. Most of our kids started with zero experience. All our kids classes are suitable for kids of all experience levels.
"What's it actually cost if we continue?" $25/week for unlimited kids classes, $12 a week for the 3-4s. Sibling discounts available. Sports vouchers accepted. No lock-in contracts - if your kid hates it (they won't), you're not stuck.
