Little lemmas (5-12)
about little lemmas
Our Little Lemmas program takes the fun and foundations of grappling and shapes them for school-aged kids. Classes are split into two age groups: 5–8 years and 9–12 years, so every child trains at the right pace, with the right challenges.
Kids learn the core movements of jiu-jitsu and grappling in a structured, game-based format: takedowns, balance, body control, escapes, and submissions taught step-by-step. Every class builds physical skills, but also focus, discipline, and problem-solving.
Confidence – Kids develop the self-assurance that comes from learning real skills in a safe, supportive space.
Resilience – Grappling teaches persistence, how to handle setbacks, and how to keep trying when things get tough.
Respect & teamwork – Classes are built around cooperation, fair play, and looking out for each other.
Fun first – The movements are taught through games, drills, and challenges that keep kids engaged.
